Please note that Cochlear has decided to retire the Vistafix 2 and Vistafix 3 implants & abutments, and therefore will discontinue the sale of new Vistafix System implants & abutments from 1st December 2022 and will begin the process of winding down support for these components.
As an alternative, they recommend Southern Implants, a company that offers osseointegrated fixtures and abutments. Southern Implants continually expands its product range to incorporate the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
They will continue to sell prosthetic and lab components to help support the ongoing needs of existing Vistafix System patients.
For new patients requiring bone-anchored facial prosthesis, Cochlear’s relationship with Southern Implants will help ensure a smooth transition and continuation of care.
