Maxillofacial Prosthetist,
St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Whiston

An exciting opportunity to work as part of team within a dynamic maxillofacial prosthetics department.
We offer a wide range of services including 3D printing, prosthetics, micropigmentation and burns therapy.
You will assist in the development and delivery of Prosthetic service at St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust, delivering clinical, scientific and advisory services to patients undergoing reconstructive procedures or rehabilitation using implants, splints and prostheses.
You will also be required to work in our second laboratory in Aintree delivering 3D printing services, orthognathic planning, cranioplasties and dental trauma.
The Trust has a combined bed capacity of approximately 875 beds at Whiston and St Helens hospitals and provides a full range of acute in-patient, out-patient, day case and emergency services to the local communities of St Helens, Knowsley, Halton and Liverpool, extending to Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man with the Regional Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit.
