Helping to improve Maxillofacial services in England...Do you manage Maxillofacial Prosthetic lab services? We'd be very grateful for your help with a questionnaire which is designed to assess the service levels and needs across England.
The GIRFT OMFS questionnaire has been devised (with help from the IMPT Council) to support maxillofacial lab services. It aims to identify the proportion and coverage of maxillofacial services; the use of equipment; and (a big one) whether our labs are able to recruit and retain an adequate workforce.
The team would be very grateful if all Maxillofacial Prosthetic Lab Service Managers could complete this questionnaire. Trusts are being contacted via their GIRFT lead contacts but, in case you don’t hear from them, you can complete the questions here: https://www.engage.england.nhs.uk/girft/omfs-labs or scan the QR code. The questionnaire will take 20-30 minutes to fill out - the attached PDF contains the questions, so you can check what will be needed before you start.
