Request for Funding and Commitment to Train 2025-2026
The NHS England online portal for submitting your requests for funding and commitment to train for Healthcare Science training places is now open.
Your funding request is your organisation’s commitment to hosting and supporting a trainee in their respective healthcare science discipline through to completion of their training programme.
This year there are three separate portals e.g. one each for STP, HSST and ETP. This will help to streamline the request and remove information which is not applicable to all programmes.
We have listened to feedback received following last year’s two-stage process and this year we are gathering your demand in a single stage. This single stage will gather:
- Information relating to requested posts commencing in September 2025
- Indicative future workforce demand for the requested posts
We hope you find the new format easy to use. Please note that the portal closes on the 31st of August 2024 at 5pm.
